CONDITIONS OF CARRIAGE

1. SONIC EXPRESS TRANSPORT (hereinafter referred to as ‘the carrier’ which expression includes its servants, agents and sub-contractors) IS NOT A COMMON CARRIER and will accept no liability as such. The carrier may at its absolute discretion refuse transport to any person, Company or Corporation whatsoever and shall not be bound to give any reason for so doing.

2. The Consignor will be and remain responsible to the Carrier for all its proper charges incurred for any reason.

3. The Carrier is hereby authorised to arrange for the carriage of the goods by any independent contractors or sub-contractor or the Carrier, or by any method which the Carrier in its discretion shall think fit.

4. The person delivering the Goods to Carrier shall be deemed to be the Consignor for the purpose of entering into this contract and the consignor hereby warrants that such person is authorised to sign the Consignment Note as agent for the Consignor.

5. Unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing no responsibility in tort or contract or otherwise will be accepted by the carrier for any loss of or damage to or misdelivery or failure to deliver or delay in the delivery of goods either in transit or in storage for any reason whatsoever. The Carrier is authorised to deliver the goods at the address given to the Carrier by the Consignor for that purpose and it is expressly agreed that the Carrier shall be taken to have delivered the goods in accordance with its contract if at that address he obtains from any person a receipt or signed delivery docket for the goods.

6. All internet bookings are subject to change without notice due to incorrect details given, waiting time or any other variables.
